Position Name: Operation Manager

Job responsibilities:

• Be responsible for processing and managing the payment transactions via CERTIS and SWIFT, treasury back office, and international settlement business;

• Be responsible for contacting with correspondent bank for business inquiries and investigation;

• Build and maintain business ledgers (payment business, treasury back office, and clearing business etc.;

• Be responsible for opening Corporate Client accounts and Vostro accounts by taking over the documents from Corporate Banking Department, examining the formality completeness of the documents and archiving the related documents;

• Be responsible for managing Corporate Client accounts and Vostro accounts, including but not limited to update account information, provide information as per Client’s inquiry, issue Client account statements etc.;

• Be responsible for managing specimen signatures of Corporate Clients and conducting verification of the Client’s specimen signatures;

• Conduct operation and the management of the Branch Coffer;

• Update the static parameters in 531 system such as CNB’s FX rate and country/region holiday etc.;

• Prepare the local regulatory reports on a daily, monthly, quarterly and annually basis which are assigned to Operations Division;

• Be responsible for archiving the electronic and paper business materials;

• Draft and review the workflows of payment business, treasury back office, clearing business, and operation business, and related policies of Operations Division;

• Coordinate and conduct the testing of new functions of 531 system;

• Address AML/CFT for payment business and conduct operational risks management related to work of Operations Division;

• Additional ad-hoc work assigned by the superiors.

Specific competences - KNOWLEDGE:

• Strong knowledge in Czech local clearing and settlement rules related to CERTIS and SEPA.

•Knowledge in Czech financial policies, laws, regulations, and banking market practice.

Specific competences – SKILLS:

•Self-motivation and ability to work under pressure;

•Strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills;

•Strong sense of responsibility and cooperation;

•Capable of managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines;

•Quick learner and detail-oriented.

Education requirements:

Bachelor degree (or above) in finance, accounting, or other economics majors.

Language requirements:

Fluency in English and Czech

Experience requirements:

At least 2 years of settlement or operation business position experience in banking or related industry.

Job conditions

Working schedule: full time

Contract length: 1 year

Duration of trial period: 3 months
